well managed.

manager to manage a project including:
– Critical Path Analysis
– Gantt Charts
• Also known as ‘
’ (CPM)
• They are used by project managers to tell them:
–
–
–
–
–
What tasks need to be done.
What tasks can be done at the same time as other tasks.
What tasks need to follow on from other tasks.
How long tasks will take.
How long the whole project will take.
• In addition to this they also help the project
manager understand:
– What the critical tasks of a project are.
• Critical tasks are those which, if not completed on time, would
cause delays in the development of a system.
– The minimum time it would take to complete a project.
– How to make the best use of resources to speed up
development time.
